In a world like ours, at a time like this, there’s no shortage of uncertainty. And though we search for meaning in the twists and turns of life, oftentimes, we come up empty-handed. In fact, for millennia, humans have been looking for a savior—not just an illusion or theory to make them feel better, but one that can enter the everyday messiness of life. But what if the savior we seek isn’t a something, but a someone? This Christmas season at True Hope Downtown, we’ll reflect on the Savior that was born in Bethlehem—he wasn’t the savior many were expecting, but one, we believe, that offers much hope to our world-wearied existence.
